COMMUNITY MIDWIVES

This is two years’ diploma program leading to the eligibility for license as CMW. The programme is recognized by the Pakistan Nursing Council, Islamabad and it is affiliated with Nursing Examination Board.

CMW diploma program is designed for training rural females as midwives who can provide maternal and newborn care to women and children of their communities.

The Community Midwives are specially trained Skilled Birth Attendants who are equipped to conduct a normal home delivery under safe and clean conditions.

DURATION

Duration of Programe: 02 years

ADMISSION POLICY

- Prospectus and Application form can be obtained against Rs.2000 from Admission cell Admin office and Student Facilitation Centres
- Entry Test
- Short listing of successful candidates
- Interview (along original documents and certificates)
- Submission of medical physical fitness
- Display of final lists
NOTE:
DUE TO COVID-19 ALTERNATIVE SELECTION CRITERIA CAN BE ADOPTED BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES
IN CASE OF NOT DEPOSITING THE ADMISSION FEE IN TIME, THE ADMISSION WILL BE GIVEN TO NEXT CANDIDATE ON THE WAITING LIST
